Debian’s Linux Kernel 5.10.0-19 has problem with Radeon integrated graphics

There are many reports now of the debian linux-image-5.10.0-19 update causing major problems with integrated radeon graphics., leading many systems to not complete boot.

The guidance is to drop back to 5.10.0-18 for now.

Debian doesn’t break things often, and I’m sure it will be addressed in short order.

Luckily kernel updates do not remove the previous kernel, so it still should be available on the system and have a grub entry in the boot menu, maybe under “Advanced” sub menus.
