Re: antiX live usb issue

I'm sorry for the delay. It took longer than we expected and we didn't want to release fixes in dribs and drabs. No need to apologise, I completely understand. In fact, reading through the topic I'm impressed at how rapidly you resolved it! :worship: Thanks for responding, and the heads up on the f...

Re: antiX live usb issue

Any ETA on when this fix might be pushed out? Just encountered the same "Error: mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on /live/linux failed: Invalid argument" on a 4.6GB iso. Similarly to rs55 , i am using a Thinkpad X220 (don't know if that's just a coincidence or not?). Happy to wait it out until the fix com...

Re: UPDATE: Ghostwriter 1.7.3

1.7.4 is now the latest version. Would it be possible to update for the test repo?

Re: MX 17 Repository: The qBittorrent Thread

I built some earlier versions against the test repo libtorrent, but qBittorrent 4.1.3 against the MX main repo 1.1.4 version. Maybe it's happiest with the version it was built against, or the test repo libtorrent is buggy. Does bwhawks fix work for anyone else? Yes, i think you've identified the pr...

Re: MX 17 Repository: The qBittorrent Thread

This all looks a bit odd. An upgrade from 4.0.3 to 4.1.3 works, but upgrades from 4.1.2 have problems ? Can confirm the above. Just upgraded from 4.1.2 to 4.1.3. Loading a magnet link brought up the add torrent dialogue, but never loaded the torrent options. Adding it anyway, the torrent began to d...

Re: xfwm4 - grey background

I'll see if I can reproduce that fix for our own rebuild of xfwm4, then. Right now we're still using Debian's stock version in 17. The fix was applied for the xfwm4 in the main MX 15/16 repo, we went with Stetch's flashing version up to now. Correcting that oversight now... Here, you can install th...

Re: xfwm4 - grey background

the package references was never deployed into the main repo to my knowledge. the Xfce compositor does still have that issue with providing grey backdrop while the desktop loads rather than keeping the lightdm wallpaper background in place. Thank you for confirming that. I can live with the small v...

xfwm4 - grey background

So i recently enabled compositing as i reverted from the intel driver to modesetting due to a bug that would hang my system at shutdown. I've noticed slightly better performance from xfwm4 than compton on my system, however there is this annoying issue when using xfwm4 whereby after login, as the de...
