I think admin edits if they don't submit reason don't show. For regular users I think there's a grace period (on other PHP3 forums I've noticed that "edited by..." appears only after the grace period or if somebody posted after your post). Now that's a good feature. You can pop back in and correct ...

I really don't know. And those moving buttons are quirky, aren't they? It seems as soon as thanks appear, the buttons move. Not a biggie, though.

I believe the number of thanks is limited to overcome a side scrolling problem caused when the list of thanks gets too wide. PCMIIW

Side scroll error

Here's a possible source for the side scroll error, where the forum gets too wide and doesn't automatically re-flow. I've noticed that the problem seems to be associated with the thanks notification. If there are many thanks the notification gets very wide.
