Well said!

We disagree here regarding whether compromising security for the sake of convenience is "good".
Hopefully my position is one of Idealism rather than Elitism, but I do recognize the quoted-back "greentext characterization" sounds contemptuous. Thanks for calling out my misstep.

when you install Ubuntu the first user (created during installation) is added to to the sudo users group.
