Re: foxreader works only from apimage

In your data above it says you are running: System: Host: antix1 Kernel: 4.9.160-antix.2-486-smp i686 bits: 32 compiler: gcc v: 6.3.0 Your system is capable of running 64-bit according to the HP specs I looked at. I recommend trying 64-bit from a LiveUSB to test it out. Personally I prefer sticking ...

Re: i have install kazam but dont work

Check for PulseAudio in your version of antiX's package installer. In antiX19b3, it is there.

Re: It is possible to install antix core but with a wm in the case rox-icewm?

Thank you for this magnificent thread and guidance. I am disappointed in myself that it took me so long to find it. I have just followed @skidoos instructions and now have a bspwm version of antiX19b3 in VBox. :number1: I will continue to work with it to tune and adjust things to my preferenc...

Re: SoftMaker Free Office now available

I too have begun using this to see what it's like. So far the only thing I miss is the single launcher for the Office Suite (like LibreOffice variants offer). Anyway I built one using YAD; I have made the code available to anyone who might like it. You will need to install YAD available from...

Re: Dedoimedo to Xfce 4.14: meh

Well, Phoronix wrote that 4.16 is due in about six months. Maybe it will have more fireworks, but xfce isn't that kind of desktop. Remember xfce has a reasonably new project leader (Sean Davis: https://bluesabre.org/tag/xfce/). Also, he picked up the ball from others who allowed the release cycle t...

Re: thunar

Don't know if you can remove the "move to trash" option, but you can ADD the "delete/remove permanently" option by going to Menu bar >> Edit >> Preferences, and in one of the tabs of the Preferences window, tick the checkbox to add the "delete permanently" option to the menu. That's not an availabl...

I just noted something about your super + F1 it automatically changers the commands as I change the keys. Tricky I like that..
Yep... I borrowed and cludged that from some smart group of people and their comments on reddit.

Re: tdrop (terminal drop-down function)

All true bbut the thing tdrop does is allows any terminal of terminal multiplexer to become a dropdown. In that manner it is awesome. If you are happy with xfce4-terminal, quake and the like then it is not needed. If you use termite, urxvt, kitty, xterm etc and want a dropdown... well then it is use...
