Re: flatpak update bug?

most flatpak commands do not need root or sudo in terminal, I believe, except when adding a new remote (repo). @joele, did you add a sudo in front of your flatpak commands? Adrian, I wonder also if there have been significant changes in flatpak (the program) or the commands it uses, between the Stre...

Hi Adrian

Thanks for that, this is for 18 and 19? I'll keep an eye on updates for both and let you know how I go..
You could try it first in that download link, and let Adrian know if he's on the right track.

Re: MX-19 Beta 2.1 Feedback

I tried the first beta and it would just not work. Put 18.3 back on, but wondering if it was worth it to try the next beta iteration? "Work" as in, 1) cannot even bootup, or 2) can boot up live but can't install? If the latter, I'm sure the devs working on the installer like AK-47, fehlix, etc woul...

Re: MX18.3 update to a number of debian packages (base-files one of them)

... curiously, some users that I've helped with this get a pop-up-gui-style-questionnaire when the update installer reaches the grub-conf thingie ... go figure! BTW, all my users (20) have the exact same MX-18 install ... trying to figure out why this varies from one machine/model to another ... Hm...

Re: MX18.3 update to a number of debian packages (base-files one of them)

Wish I hadn't done this update, my boot time went from 41 seconds to the full desktop to 72 seconds. During the boot now it slowly works its way through some scripts having something to do with new usb device found, but there is no new usb device just the same ones it had before. You might want to ...

Re: MX-19 Beta 2.1 Feedback

Hi- Looks very nice! Don't know if this is intentional: When the panels (transparent or not) are in "hidden" mode, they leave a white line on the screen where they are hidden. and Grub Customizer has to be installed manually. Due to various issues caused by Grub Customiser, it will not be a default...

Re: Grub-pc updates

I believe splash is for Plymouth splash theme.

Differences are so minimal between old and new that I would just keep the current grub, unless you don't want the splash theme.

Re: MX-19 Beta 2.1 Feedback

Is there any possibility that the new MX time & date app is interacting weirdly with the rest of the distro, thereby causing these issues in beta 2.1?

Just a completely non techie, off the shelf, thought .
