Re: New Forum Comments

Is there the ability to set the number of posts one can see on the screen at a time, before having to go to the next page? The old forum had that ability. I could have 20 post on the screen before. Or is that tied to the post # which is not on the new forum yet? That is a forum wide setting, not in...

Re: New Forum Comments

Been travelling all day today (start of my 'vacations') so great to see all is up and running now - big shout to Rich and Peregrine who have really been working tirelessly to make this happen, and also to all who've tested and fed back while we've been in transition. Looks great! I'm about for the ...

The feeds are available when you see the Forum Index in the right side of the forum titles.
Thanks, I hadn't noticed them. I was looking for a site wide feed. And I guess I still am;)

Re: New Forum Comments

bigboppercole, Regarding multi quotes, when you are composing a message, if you scroll down you will see posts in that thread with a quote button. You can click that to add those as quotes to your note. The thanks and rep are different modules, so no interaction. Starting at 0 rep -- we are an equal...

Re: New Forum Comments

Edit all 3000 plus members or 600 plus active members! Big task. I believe that data is available in a copy of VB that Karen has. Not sure if it is in a concise usable format, however. No hurry - Karen's aware and we'll have a look at the old VB when she's had a break. I expect the 600 active membe...

Re: New Forum Comments

quick question, in the old forum you used to be able to mark all forums read, so the next time you checked for unread posts the list would include everything after that marking. i can't find a similar function in this new forum software. did a quick search and it looks like this capability can be i...

Re: New Forum Comments

You mean the points already accumulated? I think not. User rep is implemented, under your Avatar, but we are all starting from 0 Yep - that's what I meant. Is there a way to bring the old rep in? Like I said, I don't mind editing members individually. I do think it is important. I just need the dat...

Re: Side scroll error

Here's a possible source for the side scroll error, where the forum gets too wide and doesn't automatically re-flow. I've noticed that the problem seems to be associated with the thanks notification. If there are many thanks the notification gets very wide. If that proves to be the case we can remo...
