the Linux Respin (remastersys) wants 20GB to build a 2GB respin.
a reasonable possible explanation:
the WORKDIR used during a prior isosnapshot operation still exists on the filesystem, and remastersys doesn't know to exclude that path

Tested both antiX-19.a1_x64-full.iso and this respin. The 19.a1 works fine. In respin, UEFI function doesn't work, only legacy mood. After boot, login (slim) doesn't appear (black screen with blinking cursor and white square mouse trace).

@rasat Slim is replaced with lightdm in the rebuild. As for the UEFI issue, I did not test that in VBox. What I can say is that I, also did not touch the snapshot/install settings (beyond moving user$ contents to etc/skel).

I have noted that the alpha snapshots don't always produce a first time post-install log on success. (This even happens to me with antiX19alpha before I mess with things). If I reset both VBox and my machine settings, then the problem clears up & log on works. I don't know if you are using vbox for these tests... I'm running version 6.0.8

I wish I had something more useful to offer. On the next release of antiX19 (alpha3??) I'll perform a complete rebuild from the ground up. My build instructions are located here; I think they are 'reasonably' complete. In any case you'll see what I have done, so far as my old brain can recall. :

pulseaudio does not connect,
Thank you, I'll see if my meager skills will affect a fix.

Found your problem! In the Sessions and Startup The part that is supposed to start pulseaudio is a blank with no command. Create a new one and use "pulseaudio --start"as the command. You cannot find the "pulseaudio start" in user/bin

Another problem no nvidia-persistenced for ver. 418.74-1. There is one for ver. 418.56-1, but, it conflicts with the other version giving errors all over the place. Well, I fixed one problem and found another. Plus, I cannot get this darn numlockx button to stay off at startup without adding another rule to Sessions and Startup????? LOL Maybe I should find another Operating System. MX-18.3 comes to mind. Bye again. Hopping.

Looks like the only version of nvidia I can run is 390.116 without a problem here on MX-18.3 Sigh. Take what you can get I guess. That took me three installs to figure that out. I'm to old for this. LOL. If I say that again kick me.
