I installed the deb and ibus, but how do you get the xfce keyboard settings to show ibus as an entry method?

I could try adding it to a postinst script so the deb installation does that automatically.
Sir I cannot remember that. How can I find it out?

If user has no idea and yet it is working, I would guess that the answer to your question is: NO.

Well, I have made what I think is a duplicate of that deb from the source, so I'll send it up to the test repo. (Actually, it's already there as "avro").
