Post by nowwhat » Thu May 08, 2014 1:00 am

Can someone tell me what happened to the debian mulitmedia repository? It appears to be taken over by another group.

A couple of years ago the debian project asked debian-multimedia to stop using the word debian in its name.
Christian Marillot complied and it's now at deb-multimedia.org. He let the old domain name go since he no longer used it, and someone else bought it. Nothing has happened to the project - just the old domain.
