When I did my build the system did not work initially. As a guy I just swore and checked all the steps again. Still no joy, more invective and checked again. And the sweet feeling of success when everything worked. That is a peek into the mind of this guy.

From what I know of you you will never give up. There is nothing wrong with a good cry. And remember you have the support of a whole bunch of us here.

Thanks Rich :)

IT'S RUNNING!!!!!

First screen I see: sees the processor, sees all the ram, sees the one SSD that is in there, sees the USB mouse.

Both case fans are running, CPU fan is running. Even the speaker works  BIP!

It's always something.. now I don't dare to go out of the BIOS *snort* SERIOUSLY GIRL!! Yes I get tired of myself sometimes...

Gave me a wee scare upon boot. It starts firing everything up, then it shut everything down, and I was like... oh crap. And then it finally booted through

Anyway.. going to calm my lady parts, and take some pics and make a little movie of the light effects and screen and such.

Congratulations on not letting the magic smoke escape. Computers won't run without the magic smoke. That's why when you can smell that peculiar smokey smell coming from them they won't work anymore.

Thanks JayM *giggle*

Short film. First the color effects, and then (out of focus, hrmph) the bios EZ screen: https://youtu.be/_SBVpyETDCs

It's been running like that for a while now.. current CPU temp is 46 solid, mobo 31 solid, CPU fan running 1128rpm.
To compare.. system in siggie, current CPU temp is 39, mobo 37, CPU fan running 2518rpm.

Pic taken much earlier when I hadn't set the time up yet (of course that now matches):
