These guys continue to impress me. Been using their free email for awhile now and it works well. Very nice addition to their service. Good to know that not everyone has to know your plans (Google).

I thought it funny that on the Tutanota site they make big noise about fighting for privacy & not being spied upon, but there were two sets of the standard Facebook Twitter & co tracking icons on their main page...?

Nothing of any of that stuff gets anywhere into your mail log-in environment or the inside stuff there. All are fully kept outside of the loop.Just make a few cents from those who maybe hang around, on the full outside.

Full dcom code inspection of the full login environment shows no outside intrusion at all. Tutao is a tiny start-up from Hanover Germany with about 3m users. Full and total encryption used. Privacy guaranteed within. No spying upon.

Yes, they'd like you to either subscribe or else donate some money, such as pushing premium plans ...but who does not want to generate some added revenue. You can still do it for free though and 100% free as well.

Agreed. And no ads in the free email. It has been a good service. I've used it for probably around a year and have been impressed with it.

Thank you for that link and generally for information.

I've never heard about Tutanota until now, but I just set up an e-mail there, so thanks again.

And their Premium account for private user is just 12 euro (13.45$) yearly (1.2 euro monthly) - I think it's not too much for such a service.

I agree, very reasonable.
