How to download wallpapers from mxlinux.org

#1

Post by deanr72 » Tue Apr 16, 2019 4:57 am

I want to grab some new wallpapers from mxlinux.org (https://mxlinux.org/wallpaper/) but the log-in I use here doesn't work and I can't find any way to register.

What do I need to do?

Thanks.

Hmm, I don't know how to download full-sized pics either, even though I have a registered account (it's a different account from the forum).

I just noted 2 new wallpapers - Fizz-Rivers and Flat-Hills - and I don't know who uploaded them and how to get the full-sized pics.

I can confirm. What is the right way to download full-sized wallpapers?

I am still working on this part of the website. You will not need an account to be able to download the full size versions when I get it completed.

Thank you for the update, peregrine.

For the OP and ludolph, perhaps you could check Auro Kumar Sahoo's flickr page - whose link is provided in the MX wallpaper page - to see if the pic you want is by him. Those can be downloaded straight from his site.

@deanr72 Quite a few of the wallpapers were contributed by Auro Kumar Sahoo. There is a link to his flickr page at the top of the wallpaper gallery page. https://mxlinux.org/wallpaper/
If what you are looking for is one of his, you can download from that link.
