Hello
I am very satisfied with MX LinuX There are many small things working nice for people like me.
But most of all I want too run in my own language Swedish! Is it some people here that are running MX LinuX in Swedish, please contact me and wee will see if its possible to make the distribution better on svenska!

Som Ni ser är min engelska inte bäst! :bagoverhead:

There's a lot to improve in the Swedish translation. No matter how many times you read it, some typos always show up.
The MX packages (and the antiX packages) can be found at Transifex: https://www.transifex.com/anticapitalis ... nguage/sv/
We can't do anything about the translations coming from other sources.
If you register at Transifex, you can take part in the translation work. I'm using KDE and the Swedish language is OK there.

Translating the strings from scratch takes some knowledge of technical English and a general idea of what the packages are doing. Add a hint of developers slang.
What is easy to start with, is testing the apps and check if the translations are usable. This hasn't always been done, as there has been very few Swedish users. Seems to change now.

Here are some instructions how to register at Transifex: viewtopic.php?f=96&t=38671

If you pick the Swedish language at the first screen when booting the live-media, the settings are carried over to the installation.
Sometimes you have to make some keyboard tweakings, that is if you're not using a standard keyboard..
