Lightweight Linux Distro?

#1

Post by junkts » Tue May 21, 2019 4:33 am

Been playing around with Bodhi, but I suppose I could also checkout puppy, lxle or just go diy arch light setup. Just something super light I can run to literally just browse and download.

you've come to the right place:
- the MX Linux System is widely recognized as being an lightweight system.

so, tell us about, what you are trying to achieve, with it.

Have you tried our sister distro antiX Linux?
Will I cry when it's all over?

Try antiX. It shares common ancestors (Mepis) and developers with MX and is very light.

Also this is totally the wrong section of the forum for this post, maybe a mod can move it.

Moving? I was thinking of deleting it. The post was copied from here: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads ... o.1015818/
Was only waiting for the spam link to appear.

I moved it but as you am wary of the intent, ready to delete the thread pending further evidence of malintent.
