One picture I keep coming back to:

Image

Wallpaper is Dark-colors (1).png from the Material Design pack of wallpapers I downloaded from (IIRC) the Google+ group "Eye Candy Linux". There are a 100+ wallpapers within, but quite a few are variations on the same theme, or seem to be repeats. I "only" extracted 80 of the images for my own wallpaper folder. There is also a later Material Album Plus pack that has 300+ (!!) other wallpapers if you can't get enough of that kind of look.

I still have the original Material Design zip file I downloaded, if anyone's interested.

I changed the colour of my terminal background to the black-green shade found in the Solarized theme (#073642) as I like that colour but not the light grey text colour in the Solarized presets in the xfce terminal.

My MX14 installation still has the left vertical panel but set to autohide.

Note: I installed the screenfetch version from sid per this post: http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtop ... 72#p380272
Works fine in Debian Wheezy as well.

If that's the *dark* colors, I'd hate to see the bright ones!

Good one. Heh.

You're right about how bright some of the other wallpapers can get! But I admit I like quite a lot of them.
