The RC 1 features the following :
latest live system changes and fixes from the antiX project
the latest updates from debian (stretch) (debian 9.3)
We still ship a 32 bit iso! The 32 bit iso has a PAE kernel for RAM usage above ~4GB
updated packages, including libreoffice 5.4.1
themable notifications (see Notifications in Xfce Settings)
new and updated mx-apps
mx-tweak replaces mx-defaultlook and provides one-stop spot for simple compositor (Xfce or Compton), panel, and other "tweak" type changes
mx-conky provides a method for doing simple edits to conky files (color changes, etc...)
mx-network-assistanct replaces mx-broadcom-manager as a general purpose network troubleshooting tool.
mx-tools now has a larger interface
mx-iDevice-mounter for helping get iPhone and similar devices mounted in the file manager.
changes to the update mananger (formerly apt-notifer, now mx-updater), including new themes available in preferences
the applications menu now has a mx-tools submenu to help organize the menu a little bit.
nomacs as the new default image viewer
featherpad, a qt-based text editor with tabbed interface and code markup, replaces leafpad.
new art work and icons
several pre-packaged conky configurations (see conky-manager to change and select)
localization of the Thunar custom actions menu (9 languages)
hdpi and xhdpi arc-themes
all the antiX live features, including persistence (up to 20GB!) and remaster
the antiX snapshots features via mx-snapshot
all the updated mx-tools that have french help files will use them if fr is the locale language
translation updates to most mx-apps
tweaks to the live-boot screens , including new background artwork
cli-aptiX, the commandline/console package manager from antiX, is preinstalled.
neofetch (like screenfetch) for diagnostics and showing off.
updated manual, help files, and wiki entries
if a different conky configuration is chosen on the live media, that configuration will not autostart automatically if you later do a full install. Workaround is to simply re-enable the previously chosen configuration in conky manager after install.

If posting hardware issues, please post the output of the terminal command "inxi -F" at a minimum.
If posting nvidia-installer issues, please post the contents of /var/log/ddm.log.
If posting remaster issues, please include the contents of /var/log/live/live-remaster.log
If posting issues with MX-PackeageInstaller "Popular Apps", please post contents of /var/log/mxpi.log or /var/log/mxpi.log.old (whichever contains the log of your issue).
