Enabling Netflix in Google-Chrome Web Browser

1.  Install google-chrome using mx package installer.

2.  Enable the “experimental” mepis repo with the following:

    commandline: edit as root /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mepis.list and add the following to the bottom of the file
   deb experimental test
   save the file

    synaptic: click Settings > Repositories, and check the box to the left of the repo listed above

3.  Reload your repo sources either via command line for via synaptic
    commandline:  apt-get update
    synaptic:  click reload button
4.  upgrade 3 specific packages, plus their depends
    commandline (as root):  apt-get install locales libc6 nscd
    synaptic:  select locales, libc6 and nscd via right click and mark for upgrade.

5.  Once upgrade of those packages is complete, disable the experimental repo
    commandline:  edit /etc/apt/sources.list.d/mepis.list and put a # in front of the definition for the experimenatal repo,
                    so it looks like this: 
                    #deb experimental test
    and then save the file.
    synaptic:  open the preferences>repositories menu item and deselect the experimental repo from the list.
6.  Update your sources again so that the regular update-notifier continues to work properly
    commandline:  apt-get update
    synaptic:  click reload button

7.  You may need to reboot for all the new libraries to be in effect.  After that Netflix in Chrome should work.
